Terms and conditions 

By paying your booking fee you are agreeing to the following terms 

EVENUE STYLING HIRE ITEMS T&C

PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY.

Upon entering into this agreement, you the hirer, agree to the terms within. All goods are owned outright by Eventopia party Ltd and we do not sub-hire. All items must be returned to Eventopia

 

Booking fee

Booking fee is non-refundable at all times. The £100 booking required on your first appointment. 

Should you need to change your wedding this can be done at our discretion. We can only move a booking to date we have availability to do so. If we do not have the date available that you wish to move to we will not refund your booking fee and you may still liable to pay your balance as this will be seen as cancellation (see rules below)

Payment of your deposit is deemed an instruction of your booking. 

Quotes/Invoices are valid for 48 hours. Price changes will not affect quotations within this period period. However, if the deposit payment has not been made, you date is not secured and prices will be amended if required by me due to material and produce costs increasing

Payments

Outstanding balance can be paid prior or at your final appointment this is usually at 8-6 weeks before your wedding date. Failure to pay your outstanding balance will result in your booking to be cancelled. You will forfeit your booking fee.

 

PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

All equipment and hire items are the property of Eventopia Party Ltd and remain so at all times throughout your hire.

 

By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that you are solely responsible for the hire items at all times throughout your hire, from the set up or collection of the items until I collection the item.

 

ALteRation

Alterations to your booking should kept to a minimum 

Final numbers & details will be discussed on your second consultation.

Items may be added, subject to availability and my own discretion. Items can also be swapped, up until 6 weeks before your event start date, but the value must not go below the agreed total hire value. If you wish to remove items but do not wish to take other items in exchange, no refunds or part refunds will be applicable. You will be billed for any additional hire value.

This is due to turning down new bookings for this items as we have allocated them to your booking. 

Alteration/ consultation charges: After booking should you need to alter your booking more than twice you will be charged an admin of £25 each time. We include two consultants within booking. I require more than 2 consultations/appointments you will be charged at £25 per consultation. If you are requiring an on site consultation at your venue (this will only be at our discretion depending availability) £25

 

Final numbers 

Your final numbers are required at your final appointment (which is usually 8-6 weeks before your wedding) these numbers are then final. There will be no further additions/reductions from your numbers or any further products.

If we arrive at your venue and you have higher numbers than you gave us we will not be held liable to deal with this. If we are able to fix this problem then all additional costs will need to be paid by you immediately

 

refundable deposit

On all hire items we take a £100 refundable deposit (holding deposit for any damages/lost items) this is added on top of your booking. This is returned to after your wedding we stated on invoice 5 working days after just covers us but usually this is returned the day after your wedding.

The hirer shall be solely responsible for the hire goods. Hotels/venues/ florists/wedding planners or any other third party involvement will be exempt from any responsibility regarding hired goods and will not be held accountable should any damages occur whilst in their possession. If items are returned badly damaged or broken in any way we have the right to charge you the replacement cost or treatment charge. This will be required within 7 days.

Delivery, set up & collection 

We will liaise with your wedding venue directly to arrange delivery & collection timings and extra access availability a few days before your wedding to ensure we have timings correct for the week.

Delivery and collection hours are between 07:00 and 18:00. I typically deliver and set up on the day of your event and collect the day after your event. Arrangements can be made to deliver the day before and collections at the end of event if required.

If your venue requires the collection of your wedding/event requires a collection between 23:00 – 24:00 will include this in your booking hower if you or venue or yourself requires a later time than 12am then there will be an extra £100 collection charge to cover staff & a late night fee.

Standard Hire Period 

Unless specifically arranged at the time of booking, all standard hires are based on a total of 24 hours.

 

EQUIPMENT SAFETY

Electrical items are PAT tested and all items are checked before and after hire and undergo regular maintenance. I do everything I can to ensure the safety and safe handling of the items.

I am not responsible for any injury or damage to animals, property, persons, or objects arising from the use of any equipment under hire. I shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage or additional costs that may arise as a result of the use of my hire items.

Refunds/returns Policy 

Refunds may occasionally be given at the discretion of the management. Because of the perishable nature of our products you are advised to make any complaint within 1 working day of the delivery of your flowers. We always endeavour to reach an agreement with the recipient for either for a replacement or a refund depending upon the nature of the complaint.

Cancelling your booking 

If for any reason, you wish to cancel your booking you should let us know in the first instance. All cancellations must be confirmed by email. Cancellations of booking will mean a forfeit your £100 deposit.

Extreme Circumstances / Force Majeure / Cancellation by Me

In the event of extreme weather or road conditions which result in me being unable to safely deliver or collect the hire goods, I reserve the right to alter the arrangements for delivery or collection and shall not be liable to for any losses or costs to you that may arise as a result.

I reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances that make your hire unviable for me, up to and including the day of your hire. I am the ruling party on deciding if the hire is unviable and I will not be liable for any compensation or additional costs you may incur as a result of our cancellation, however a full refund will be issued.

Hire Refusal

I have the right to refuse a booking to you if we feel the items are not suited to the purpose of your hire, or if you, your company, or your event contradicts my company ethos.

Copyright

All images, photography and wording on my website, Facebook page and other social media are copyrighted to me unless expressly confirmed otherwise. My company name and logo are trademarked and may not be used by anyone other than me. Images may not be copied, printed or otherwise disseminated.

Liability

If the full balance is not paid by the date of the booking, I hold no responsibility to provide the hire items and hold no liability in this circumstance.

 

Flowers & Balloons 

 

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop online, and add any bouquets of gifts that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the 'Checkout' button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept any debit of credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own local currency.

We accept most credit and debit card payments, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro. You may send and pay for flowers over the phone by calling us.

Orders that are cancelled online or via the phone are subject to a cancellation fee.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when payment has been processed. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Delivery Schedule Orders received before 12pm Monday to Saturday UK time for UK delivery will be delivered on the same day if required.
Orders with a specified delivery date will be delivered on that day (note must be received before same day cut off time shown above).
Orders placed to be delivered on a public holiday will be delivered the next working day. Online deliveries can only be in the UK. To send flowers overseas please telephone.

No timed deliveries - except for funeral tributes and weddings.

Please telephone if you have an emergency order.

If you require specific flowers please telephone at least 24 hours before delivery is required.

Orders are delivered ONCE. If the recipient is not home the flowers/plant are returned to the shop and a delivery note is left informing them that flowers/plant have tried to be delivered and to collect from the shop.
If a neighbour is home we will try and leave the flowers/plant with them providing they are willing to take responsibility for the delivery.
If the recipient is physically unable to collect their flowers/plant a new delivery date will be arranged with the recipient at Eventopia earliest convenience.
Eventopia Florist are not responsible for theft or damage of flowers, plants or sundries if left.
We take care of our flowers and ensure freshness and quality at all times.
Tax Charges Orders are inclusive of 20% VAT
Credit Card Security. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 256 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
