Booking a character service with Eventopia verbally, by phone, Internet or any other method of communication constitutes you having read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Confirmation of Booking

Your booking time and date is only confirmed once you have paid a £30 deposit within 7 days of your invoice date and have received an email confirming that we have received your deposit.

We require final numbers of children attending & final outstanding balance 4 weeks before, due to preparation of parties.

If the outstanding balance is not received 4 weeks before your party date then we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that occasionally parties need to be cancelled. We are happy to allow you to reschedule the party as long as we have availability for your new date.

If you just want to completely cancel your booking this must be done via email. You will forfeit your deposit and any money that has been paid.

3. Child Numbers

We require final numbers of children attending 4 weeks before, due to preparation of parties.

We highly recommend not having more then 30 children to one character and 40 children to two characters at a party. We cannot stress this enough! If you exceed these numbers this can interfere with the party experience. If you require more children than this you can contact us and we can arrange something for you.

Often parents ask about siblings. If the child is over 18 months and under 9 years old then they will be classed as part of the party.

4. Joint Parties

If you would like your party to be a joint party there will be an extra charge of £5 per birthday child.

5. Final Balances

Eventopia requires your full outstanding balance to be paid in full 4 weeks before the party date.

6. Responsible adult accompanying children

Children remain the responsibility of their Guardians at all times. Guardians must ensure that no child exits the room/building without them. Eventopia performers provide entertainment and interaction however they do not provide child care, child‐minding or any other service which may require them to be in sole charge, supervision or custody of a child.

7. Allergies

It is the responsibility of the paying customer to check with the guests for skin allergies or sensitivities. This is in regard to the face paint/glitter faces in our 2 hour package & pamper package.

We also supply sweets in packaging for our party games (ingredients supplied on packaging). It is the responsible adult of the child attending's duty to monitor their child throughout of the party and it is their responsibility to beware of any food allergies.

8. Party information

It is your responsibility to provide correct information and clear address instructions. Any address changes after booking must be confirmed in writing and agreed by Eventopia

9. Travel fees

If you are outside of Lowestoft we will add a travel charge to your party price. This will be advised at the time of booking.

10. Parking

Clients will need to pay for any parking for your character. Please let your character know where she is best to park and if there are any charges please inform her of these charges and then please give her the cash for this on the day.

11. Safety

Eventopia aims to provide a safe and fun environment for children however does not accept any responsibility or liability for accidents or injuries that may occur as a result of playing in your selected venue or for children slipping, tripping, falling and bumping into other children or items during the party/event.

12. Permission for Eventopia to use pictures and videos

Eventopia will always ask the parents if they are happy for us to share their child or group photos on our Eventopia social media sites & website. Therefore will always ask them to email over photos they are happy for us to use. If these photos contain children that are not their own, it is their responsibly to get permission from parents or guardians.
